It’s becoming more blue!

The wind picked up some today but the sun is shining and the ice is beginning to melt!

The swans have a place to feed and play now! It won’t be long before the docks are put in.

Winter Blue

It’s mid-winter at Little Blue and life is starting to pick back up! The ice fishermen, the snowmobiles, quads and side by side riders, an occasional daredevil on a motor cross bike come out to test the ice.

A Little Blue Christmas

The weather is mild. The swans and ducks still fishing for their Christmas dinner. I’m in the small but cozy kitchen getting a Christmas lunch prepared for my kids! I’m so happy that Little Blue gives us an extraordinarily cozy place to celebrate!

Ending A Season

As Fall winds down and the Season starts to change to winter Little Blue takes on a whole new look.

The dock is out, the patio furniture is put away and the catalpa leaves are falling. It’s a season that leaves me feeling a “little blue”.

The Lights of the Night

The full moon shines its light at the east end of the lake competing with the Christmas lights at the West end. Little Blue sits directly in the middle. Little Blue won’t win a competition for the brightest light in either category but stands tall anyway. Proud to show Gods love as both the moon and the holiday trees do with a small tree with red bulbs symbolizing my faith and the hope that the season brings to all.

A large gold star tops the tiny tree adding to the warmth and serenity of Little Blue.

Beautiful Autumn Sunrise at the Blue

The sunrises at Little Blue are amazing! I so enjoy watching while sipping a hot cup of coffee. It’s even better when family or friends join me!
